This page sets out the terms of use for bengalcat.hu (the “Website”), with a particular focus on protecting our original images and intellectual works (texts, graphics, video, brand assets).
In case of discrepancies, the Hungarian version shall prevail. Read together with the Privacy |Policy.

- Unauthorised copying, re-publishing, downloading, modification, removal of watermark or logo, and use for AI training of our original images/videos and texts are prohibited.
- Third-party images are labelled with their source; such content is subject to the source licence terms.
4. Permitted, Limited Use
- Personal viewing and linking to the Website are allowed.
- Short quotations of text up to 120 words are permitted with proper attribution and a clickable link.
- Press/educational use requires prior written permission.
5. Prohibited Uses
- Saving/re-publishing images/videos without permission; removing watermark, logo or EXIF/IPTC metadata.
- Commercial use (sponsorship, advertising, merchandising, stock-like resale) without a licence.
- Use of content for machine learning/AI dataset building or training.
6. Image Source & Metadata
By default, we do not display separate credit lines under images. The vast majority of displayed images are original and owned by Bengaltwins Bengals.
Where third-party images are used, source indication may appear as on-image marking/watermark, or we will provide the source by e-mail upon request. Third-party images remain the property of their rights holders and are used under the respective licence terms.
We use embedded IPTC/EXIF metadata to indicate authorship and legal information; removal of such data is prohibited. During technical optimisation (e.g. compression, format change), some metadata may be lost; this does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
7. Permission & Licensing
Please e-mail melany@bengalcat.hu with: a link to the content, purpose of use, territory, duration, expected reach. We will reply with licence terms and fees.
8. Notice & takedown
For alleged infringement, please e-mail melany@bengalcat.hu including your name/contact, the URL(s) concerned, proof of rights, and a good-faith statement. We will act promptly where justified.
9. Technical Measures & Watermark
The Website may apply a logo and a discreet watermark. These measures do not constitute a licence and do not waive enforcement rights.
10. Liability & Enforcement
Unauthorised use may result in fee claims, damages and removal. Governing law: Hungary; competent courts: Hungary. International disputes may be referred to arbitration as agreed.
11. Final Provisions
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the Website.
